RMF GIVES BACK TO FEEDING SAN DIEGO

Silver lining to the challenges of 2020 was the formation of a new community partnership. As part of our efforts to support San Diego’s front line workers during the pandemic we have aligned in support of Feeding San Diego. Feeding San Diego is a hunger-relief organization, but they are also a food rescue organization. They are on a mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue. The synergy was natural as we both believe in the importance of sustainability and that we all have a part to play in protecting the environment. More to come in 2021!

Please take a moment to watch this brief video with Rob and please remember that our charitable giving page remains open all of December.

In gratitude, RMF

“Feeding San Diego is so grateful to the Rob Machado Foundation for the donation of a water refill station in our volunteer training center. Every year, Feeding San Diego relies on more than 10,000 volunteers to help sort and clean produce before sending it out into the community. Now we can encourage volunteers to bring reusable water bottles to their volunteer shift, instead of single-use plastic water bottles. We are proud to partner with Rob Machado Foundation to make Feeding San Diego a single-use plastic free facility, in order to support the environment and protect the oceans we all love.” – Dan Shea, CEO of Feeding San Diego
